Can guests use restaurants and bars in other sections of a split-concept resort in Sharm El Sheikh (e.g. 4-star vs 5-star zones)?

TL;DR
Split-concept resorts (4-star/5-star sections) usually have separate beaches, bars and restaurants for each category; only some à la carte restaurants are shared between zones. Access to a specific zone's bars/restaurants (e.g. 'Island') depends on your package — confirm with your tour operator.
On beaches split by hotel category (4-star/5-star), snack bars are also separate — it may look like one beach at first, but the zones are actually divided.
You can reserve a sunbed on the beach, then go up to a café and come back — your spot will be held, no issue.
Access to a separate resort zone's bars and restaurants (e.g. the 'Island' section) isn't automatically included with every package — confirm with your travel agent or hotel reception before check-in.
Each resort section has its own beach, bars and restaurants; only certain à la carte restaurants are shared across all guests.
Food and service quality is usually similar across room categories, but the premium-category beach tends to have quieter, more secluded spots if you want to relax alone.
