Can you buy alcohol and drinks on the beach in Sharm el-Sheikh?

A visitor reported that bottled beer is available in addition to draft beer. Listed cocktails included Cuba Libre, Sex on the Beach, gin and tonic, and vodka with Sprite; non-alcoholic choices included Fanta, Sprite, regular Cola, and Cola Zero.

One report rated the mojito poorly: it came in a small cup with only two ice cubes and no mint or lime, and the taste and ingredients were considered disappointing.

A recent report says beer is the only alcoholic option available on the beach; soft drinks and juices are also sold.

You can mix your own cocktails from ingredients available at the bar: tequila+pineapple/orange juice+grenadine, tequila+sprite+lemon, rum+black tea+lemon+honey, whiskey with apple juice/cola/sprite, gin+rum+whiskey+cola+orange+lemon, white wine+sprite+ice, red wine+tequila(up to 30ml)+orange+lemon+fanta, beer+sprite+lemon. Adjust proportions to taste.

Pre-mixed cocktails at the beach/hotel are weak with poor-quality alcohol, but the beer itself is fine. A workaround: buy rum (e.g. Bacardi) at duty-free and ask the bartender to make a mojito with it.

The beach also offers hookahs (tasty, good smoke), freshly squeezed juices, imported canned beer, coffee, cola and Schweppes.

The beach bar serves draft beer (as opposed to bottled beer, e.g. Stella, served in the restaurant).

Besides the regular beach bar, there is a mini-bar where drinks are obtained using coupons.

On the beach, there is not only a working bar, but drinks are also brought around to guests during the day. Milkshakes and cone ice cream were also mentioned.

Coffee, cold water, and cold beer are available for purchase on the beach. The beer is decent quality.

Tips are not required — drinks are served without them. Bringing your own cup is generally accepted.

Bringing your own alcohol to the beach may be prohibited — staff can ask you to stop. However, bringing your own juices, water, or frozen fruit pulp is usually fine.

Beach vendors offer a basic selection: coffee, small-bottle lemonades, water, and some snacks and pastries. Food quality is average. No designated smoking area.
