TL;DR
Naama Bay is about 15–20 minutes by car from most beachfront hotels. Nearby walking options include the Soho Square area and a coastal path that stretches all the way to the Rixos hotels.
Swimming left from the hotel is not recommended — there is a current and lifeguards frequently whistle. Swimming right you can go all the way to the end of the bay past three hotels: it is uncrowded, and the full round trip to the last hotel takes over an hour.
From building 4 to the pier takes about 10 minutes at a leisurely pace with stops, even with three children. The distance is not as far as it may appear on the map.
The coastal path running along the beachfront hotels stretches quite far — heading right (facing the sea) you can walk all the way to the Rixos hotels. There is a short, unlit stretch of wild beach along the way before the hotel zone resumes.
Entering the beach through the main Sea Life entrance puts you at the far edge of the beach, making the walk to the pier quite long. This is worth considering when choosing a hotel — being near Sea Life does not necessarily mean convenient beach access.
Naama Bay is roughly 15–20 minutes by car from beachfront hotels. The Soho Square area is closer and makes for a convenient nearby walk, while the Old Market (old town) is the furthest destination.
Beachfront (first-line) hotels tend to be quiet with no construction noise. Dining is convenient here — the crowd is mostly adults, menu service is attentive, and there is also outdoor food prepared on-site that is easy to miss at first. When you want more activity and restaurant variety, the second-line area is a short trip away.
