Water temperatures in Sharm el-Sheikh range from 23–24°C in January to 30–33°C in August. June 2026 was unusually cool at just 26–27°C.
In mid-June 2026, water temperature is +27°C with air at +34/35°C — getting in and staying in the water is fully comfortable even for those who usually feel cold. Children stay in constantly and don't want to get out.
In April (not in 2026), water was only 17–22°C while air reached +38/40°C, with persistent strong winds. The reviewer would not return in April.
Late April 2026 was warmer and more enjoyable than March the previous year. August remains the favourite month overall.
In June 2026, the sea in Sharm el-Sheikh was unusually cold at 26–27°C — well below the typical warm temperatures expected for this time of year.
In early June the previous year, the water near the Xanadu resort area was very warm — kids didn't want to leave the sea.
