When and where can you get alcohol at a Sharm el-Sheikh resort hotel?

A recent report says alcohol is served 24/7 at this hotel, not only from the morning onward. Guests also say you can ask for larger pours, such as a full glass of whisky.

Alcohol service at the hotel starts at 10am and is available at the lobby bar and the pool or beach bars. In the restaurant, alcohol is only served from lunchtime onwards.

For well-made cocktails, ask hotel staff which bar is best — in some resorts it's the lobby bar, in others the pool bar tends to have better bartenders.

To buy alcohol independently, check if there's a liquor store near your hotel — in Sharm el-Sheikh alcohol is sold only in licensed shops, not in regular supermarkets.
