Where to buy medicine and beach supplies at fair prices in Sharm el-Sheikh?

Near the hotel there's a small shopping row: a travel agency called 'Cheburashka' on one side, a pharmacy on the other. The young pharmacist speaks good Russian and doesn't overcharge — prices match what's printed on the box. Recommended to pay in Egyptian pounds rather than dollars.

At least in one commonly used pharmacy, it is worth asking for a receipt and immediately rechecking the total on a calculator against the prices printed on the packages. Supplement prices may be set arbitrarily, so they need extra checking before payment.

For lower-cost shopping, travelers recommend Naama Fix Price, especially the branch in the Pyramid area. If you also need medicine, there is a Russian pharmacy within walking distance; taking an inDrive taxi from the hotel is described as a cheap option.

The pharmacy near Mango Market is the best option. Free transfer available, about 2 km away. Sunscreen is 3–4 times cheaper there, snorkeling masks and goggles are 2–3 times cheaper than near the hotels. Medicines are also significantly more affordable.

Be cautious with pharmacies near hotels — they often charge above the printed box price. For example, Antinal is marked at 52 EGP on the box but sold for 100 EGP, with sellers claiming it's the price per blister strip. This is misleading.

The pharmacy near Soho Square also tends to overcharge — better to avoid it.

The pharmacy near the Rotana hotel is among the most expensive in the area. Local pharmacies or the one near Mango Market will be noticeably cheaper.
