Which area of Sharm El Sheikh is warmer and less windy in winter: Naama Bay or Fan San?

From a New Year 2023 stay, travelers reported that Naama Bay felt very warm and described the bay as sheltered from wind. That makes Naama Bay one of the safer winter choices in Sharm if you are worried about windy weather.

Weather can vary a lot even within Sharm El Sheikh in winter: one traveler felt very cold in early November in another area, while Naama Bay can feel much more comfortable during the same season.

Another traveler noted that conditions in November and April are hard to predict exactly, but Naama Bay is generally seen as better protected: wind is still possible, yet conditions are usually milder than in more exposed parts of the resort.
