TL;DR
For a short stop, use the electronic platform signs to wait where your coach will stop. If you board a different coach, you can usually walk through the train to reach your assigned one.
If available on your route, choose the more comfortable service taking about 2.5 hours. A regular train can take around 6 hours and may be delayed further.
Before the train arrives, check the electronic board or overhead coach-position signs on the platform. Wait in the section marked for your coach so you do not spend the two-minute stop searching.
If you cannot reach your coach on the platform with large luggage, board the nearest open coach first. You can walk through the train to your assigned coach after departure, and two minutes is generally enough to get on.
