How do you get from a remote hotel near Bodrum to Bodrum town center, and are there local bus or dolmuş stops nearby?

The nearest main road with buses to Bodrum may be about 2 km from the hotel and involves an uphill walk. A transfer may be possible there, but plan for that walk.

Do not treat a free hotel shuttle to Bodrum as a full transport option: it may be one-way only and include stops at a tea house, carpet shop, and jewellery shop. One reported independent return route was a bus from MidTown mall to Turgutreis, then a dolmuş from Turgutreis bus station to the hotel.

Buses arrive at Bodrum's bus station, essentially an open square cordoned off with barriers: passengers are dropped off, then picked up for the return trip. From there you need to continue to your hotel on your own — by taxi, by dolmuş, or on foot if it's close enough.
