TL;DR
Common issues include generator noise on ground floor, late-night AC repairs, and noisy cafes below balconies. Request upper floors away from technical areas.
A ground floor room next to the generator made sleep impossible due to constant noise throughout the night. Food and sea were great, but pillows were very hard. Went to request a room change in the morning. Ground floor near the generator is typically the economy category.
Workers arrived on the balcony unannounced at around 11:25 PM to repair external AC units. The AC itself was already noisy, hanging just a meter above the bed. No prior notice was given about the maintenance work.
Street-facing rooms have balconies that can't be opened at night due to noise from Sultan Cafe below, where groups gather regularly. Wi-Fi is good throughout the hotel except near the water slides. The AC ventilation mode helped as a workaround for fresh air.
