How do towel changes work in hotels in Turkey: can you get clean beach towels for free every day?

In the new building of one hotel, guests reported that dropping dirty towels on the floor (the usual signal for replacement) doesn't always work — staff sometimes put them back on the shelf mixed with clean towels anyway.

In a recent traveler report, guests were told that if they return a beach towel in the evening, they can collect a clean one the next morning for free. This is useful if you want a guaranteed fresh towel early in the day.

According to traveler experience, beach towels in Turkish hotels are often easier to deal with than room housekeeping: some guests were able to swap them 2–3 times a day without extra charges or arguments at the towel desk.

Room towels can be less reliable, especially in budget five-star hotels: travelers reported that bath towels were not replaced for several days, so you should not automatically expect a daily room-towel change.
