TL;DR
Prices spike dramatically in high season — a cramped room can cost $100, while the same property rents a villa for $20 in autumn. Book early as availability disappears fast once the season starts.
In autumn (off-season), accommodation in Turkey is dramatically cheaper — a full villa can be rented for around $20 per night. Low season is the best time to get spacious lodging at budget prices.
In high season, even a $100/night room can be extremely cramped — barely enough space for two suitcases. Value for money drops significantly compared to off-season.
Once high season begins, availability vanishes almost immediately. At the start of the season, one property had only 2 rooms left with a $10 deposit to confirm — after that, finding accommodation at any price becomes very difficult.
