What time is hotel check-in in Marmaris during peak season?

August. In early August 2026 a participant wrote that early check-in does happen, but hardly when the hotel is overbooked. According to her, the hotel had long been fully booked for August; on a previous August trip they had to wait for check-in regardless of whether they paid for an early arrival.

Outside the peak. In July 2026 a guest said that in May they got their room straight away: they checked in and went out for a walk, and when they came back their bag was already in the room.

After check-out time. In July 2026 a guest wrote that they arrived at 11 AM and left the hotel at 10 PM: check-out was at noon, they left their bags in the luggage room and kept using the hotel, and nobody said anything.

End of summer. In July 2026 a participant explained that there is no special rule: you get the room as soon as it is free. If you travel in late August or September, the hotel is usually fully booked, he said, so a wait is more likely.

Overbooking. In mid-July 2026 guests said they had been waiting for a solution for a second day: the tour operator's guide knew about the problem and promised options but never sent any. Meanwhile they were put on the second floor of the old building and kept their suitcases packed. Another participant noted that overbooking happens not only at this hotel but, in his impression, not very often, and is unlikely in mid-October.

Extending the room is hit or miss. In September 2026 a guest wrote that in early June they got a free three-hour extension, but in early September they were refused because there was no availability. Another guest in September 2026 passed on what the guide told them: the hotel is busy, and extending the room, even because of a rescheduled flight, does not always work, although she saw another guest extend with no problem. One more participant had heard that an extension costs about 1 euro per hour.

Late check-out. In June 2026 a guest said they wanted to pay to keep the room for 4 more hours, but the hotel was full. They were simply allowed to check out an hour later for free: at 1 PM they left their suitcases in the luggage room, got a tag, and kept having lunch and using the grounds until they left.

Which room you get. In June 2026 a guest said the villas are the farthest from the sea. In mid-September the previous year they booked the cheapest room category and were placed well, near the lifts on the 3rd floor, but in her words placement is a matter of luck. Another guest wrote that her travel agent emailed the hotel with their room preferences; they travel outside the peak, in October or March–April.

Check-in time. A guest writing in June 2026 recalled her previous stay in October: even outside the main season the hotel was fully booked, and they were checked in at about 2 PM — no earlier, no later. Extending the room on departure day was not possible because the hotel was full.

Early check-in in high season. A guest observed in June 2026 that in high season this hotel does not check anyone in early — except possibly for an extra fee. Every day until 2–3 PM the reception was crowded with suitcases of waiting guests. In her view, outside the season they may check you in earlier.
