TL;DR
Guests complain about poor food (fries are the only reliable option), an outdated, dirty room stock, and repeated theft from rooms, safes and beach bags (cash, jewelry, personal items). At ~250,000 TL for 2 adults + 1 child many find it overpriced, while the nearby Sapphire resort gets better reviews.
Food this season is reportedly worse than last year, but guests aren't going hungry — there's food besides fries.
In June, branded swim shorts went missing from a room even though the guest was sure they'd brought them in from the pool; another guest reported the same theft during the same period. The safe was sometimes left unlocked but nothing was taken from it.
Food is described as bland and repetitive: fries are the only reliably decent option, kids occasionally get boiled chicken, broccoli or cauliflower. Everything is oversalted and dishes aren't labeled, so guests have to guess what's in them.
Guests warn not to leave valuables in the room or safe: one woman had gold jewelry worth 700,000 TL stolen from her safe, others lost sun hats and a selfie stick, and $30 disappeared from a beach bag left on the beach.
The nearby Sapphire resort costs about 100,000 TL more, but reviewers say it's worth it: regular discos, a clean beach, and a newer-looking building — one traveler regretted not paying extra to stay there instead.
Positives of MC Resort: multiple pools and water slides for kids, clean warm sea, and shops just across the road. The stay costs around 250,000 TL for two adults and a child.
At the MC Beach section, beach access gates are locked at 10 PM with chains — some guests compared it to being at a summer camp.
