TL;DR
Free sunbeds are usually available around 9-10am (front rows get taken by then) and again in the afternoon around 4pm, especially near the pier, further beach areas, or the adults-only pool.
Arriving around 10am, poolside loungers without towels are still free but limited. On the beach, front rows are taken by then, but spots for 2-3 people are always available on the pier or further along the beach. After 4pm, the adults-only 'Infinity' pool also has free spots easily. Tip: for a specific spot, go before breakfast and reserve with a towel.
Arrived at 9am to the beach area to the left of the sandy section, opposite the restaurant — not many spots, but always found room for 4 people. In the afternoon around 4pm, moved further left past an empty blue building on the shore, where loungers were free at any time.
Arrived at the beach around 10am — free sunbeds were always available, just not in the first row. Came back after lunch and found spots again. A staff member working the beach helps guests locate free loungers.
