Are quieter resort hotels in Kemer a good choice for families with children?

One commenter recommended Lonicera as a more engaging option for a holiday with children than a hotel with limited children’s activities, while warning that it attracts large numbers of guests and children.

In a September 24 report, a guest noted that the hotel under discussion has a separate children’s pool. They could not assess the children’s activities because they were travelling without children.

Guests found the kids’ club very limited: on a couple of occasions, only 3–4 children were seen drawing there. No dedicated children’s activities were noticed; before the evening show, music was sometimes played for the children to dance. There are some children at the hotel, but not many, and they usually stay with their parents.

One commenter specified they were discussing Blu hotel: it's inexpensive and fine for couples without kids, but there's nothing for preschool-age children to do there.

Another parent noted that the pool at this type of quiet hotel is small and deep, not designed for children — they wouldn't have chosen it themselves, though for some reason other families with kids were allowed in.

One commenter disagrees that quiet Kemer hotels have few kids — in their experience, children are present in all hotels, it's just that the setting is very simple: wooden, colorful tables and benches, like an old-style summer camp.

Another review: the main downside of this type of Kemer hotel is very small rooms, and the sea is somewhat far away, though the beach transfer isn't a problem. Despite that, the holiday turned out to be a real fairytale for the kids.

The newest review says that in a quiet Kemer hotel there was very little children’s entertainment: mainly darts and volleyball for adults, plus only a couple of water slides for kids, both exposed to direct sun. The sea was shallow and almost waveless, which is good for swimming with children, but the entertainment side was limited.

Another recent impression from a similar hotel in Kemer suggests that the main issue for families is not the beach or food, but that children may struggle to find the right company to play with. If your child is sensitive to conflicts or social tension, a quiet adult-leaning hotel may not be the most comfortable option.

One more traveler specifically noted that there were very few children in this Kemer hotel and the overall atmosphere was more geared toward adults. This kind of place works only if you want a quiet holiday rather than a child-focused program; otherwise, it is better to book a resort designed for families.
