TL;DR
Most Kemer beaches are pebbly, but some hotels offer sandy sections or cleared sea entries. Conditions vary significantly by property.
The Ruby hotel has a beautiful sandy beach shaped like a lagoon. It is located a short walk past the pier and easy to miss if you don't go a bit further.
The seabed at one Kemer beach is uneven: sand up to knee depth near the shore, then flat non-sharp rock slabs, then sand again followed by more slabs. It is advisable to explore the bottom on the first day before swimming.
Lonicera World Resort has its own beach with a gentle sandy sea entry located in a cove. The neighboring Premium property's beach is not in a cove and has a rocky entry.
The lower tier of one beach has a sandy area suitable for families with children. The sea entry to the right of the wooden handrail ramp has been cleared of stones.
The beach at Kumköy differs from Evrenseki and resembles Çolakli. Staff are polite and attentive, but the beach itself is considered less impressive than nearby alternatives.
According to the Moonlight hotel manager, the pebble beach is fully operational and considered the better of the two. The second beach — a sandy one in an older style — is currently under renovation.
The stretch of coastline from the port to Beldibi has traditionally been coarse pebble beach. There are reports of possible sand being added, which surprises long-time visitors familiar with the area.
