Is the sea still warm in Kemer in late October or early November, and is Kemer cooler than Side?

Based on two recent seasons in Kemer itself, mid-to-late October is warm during the day, while a light extra layer is useful in the evening; in one of those years, evenings were warm too.

One contributor estimates the actual sea temperature at about 23–24°C through mid-November rather than 26°C, noting that the water was even cooler in 2024.

Swimming in Kemer is still possible in the last third of October, but only just in time: most people swim until around the 25th, sea temperature stays around +25°C, and after that it depends on luck with the weather.

One traveler noted that in mid-October in Kemer the air temperature was comfortable, but the sea itself felt uncomfortably cold to them personally — perception of sea temperature varies by individual.

There's a microclimate difference within the Kemer region: the villages of Beldibi and Goynuk fall into mountain shade earlier and attract clouds, so autumn there is noticeably cooler — if choosing Kemer, it's better to pick the area from the town center to Tekirova.

In early September, the sea in Kemer is not generally considered cold; the concern came more from a travel agent’s warning than from actual traveler complaints.

According to travelers, early November in Kemer brings gentle sunshine without intense heat, and the sea stays very warm, making swimming comfortable even then.

Kemer is often seen as slightly cooler than Side, but in late October and early November that usually doesn’t affect the holiday much: the weather remains comfortable and the sea is still warm.
