Are flydubai flights to Dubai currently nonstop, and how common are refueling stops or delays?

In early July, travelers mentioned that flydubai had resumed flights in June but might suspend them again around July 10–15. Before booking, it is worth checking the status of your exact flight rather than relying only on the published schedule.

One recent report said the trip took about 9.5 hours, and cabin crew reportedly said this operating pattern with a technical stop had been happening for around two months. For a flight sold as nonstop, that makes the journey much longer.

There are also positive late-June reports: some travelers flew to Dubai several times within the month and had nonstop flights of about 6.5 hours, sometimes even arriving ahead of schedule.

Some late-June reviews criticized flydubai specifically for refueling stops, with Pakistan or Tashkent mentioned as the stop points, stretching total travel time to around 9 hours. Because of this, travelers suggested paying extra for Emirates or Aeroflot if you want a more predictable trip.

Even when delays happened, some passengers said the wait was still shorter than expected: not the 6–7 hours they had feared, but a much smaller shift. A practical tip was to monitor actual departure times throughout the week before travel, especially if flying with a small child.

Another late-June review described the onboard experience as smooth: food and drinks were provided, and both departure and arrival were exactly on time. However, the traveler was still planning for a longer flight of about 8 hours and no Wi-Fi.

Based on May and June reports, some flydubai services did operate as true nonstop flights: roughly 6 hours each way, with no refueling stop and no delays in either direction.

The earliest reports here also suggest the issue did not affect every departure: until the end of June, travelers mentioned about two flights per week, and at least one June 17 departure was completed normally with no delay and no technical stop.
