TL;DR

In addition to the standard 7 kg cabin bag, flydubai allows one personal item such as a laptop bag or small handbag. It must fit under the seat and stay within 25 × 33 × 20 cm; cabin bags may be weighed at the boarding gate in Dubai.

What the community said

Dubai Airport staff may weigh cabin bags at the boarding gate. Passengers with an obvious excess can be pulled aside, so it is best to meet the allowance before reaching the gate.

7 kg cabin baggage

One personal item is permitted in addition to the main cabin bag, such as a laptop bag, handbag or small shoulder bag. It should not be a second large travel bag.

1 personal item

The personal item limit is 25 × 33 × 20 cm and it must fit under the seat in front. A larger bag may be treated as part of your cabin baggage allowance.
