Is the Museum of the Future in Dubai closed for renovation in 2026?

The Museum of the Future is closing for renovation starting mid-September 2026 and won't reopen until roughly Q1 2027. Since it's usually part of standard tour programs, operators will either swap it for another attraction or shorten the visit time.

In most group tours, the Museum of the Future isn't actually included as a full visit anyway — it's typically just a photo stop outside the building. There isn't much to see inside, and the building itself now feels more like a monument to the present than to the future, which is part of why it's being renovated.
