What meals are included in half board (HB) at Dubai hotels?

A report about the Dine Around programme says lunch and dinner are available at three participating restaurants at no extra charge.

At lunch and dinner, children can also order a main course and dessert from a separate children's menu in addition to the buffet.

At Hilton Jumeirah on a breakfast-and-dinner plan, dinner starts at 6:30 pm. There is no lunch buffet; à la carte restaurants can be used instead.

At some hotels, room service (food delivery to the room) is included free of charge under half board.

Included coffee under HB is typically limited to black coffee with milk; cappuccino and latte are charged extra.

There's no separate kids' buffet table, but child-friendly options like porridge, vegetables, rice, and fries are always available.

At some hotels, the main restaurant is mainly used for breakfast; lunch/dinner under HB can be ordered at alternative venues like Anchor Bar (ribeye and tuna steaks, salads, pizza) or the pool/lobby with their own menu — not just fast food.

At some Rove hotels, HB breakfast may include more than just the buffet: you can also choose one made-to-order hot dish from the menu, such as an omelet or eggs Benedict.

With half board, drinks from hotel bars during the day are generally not included. Included drinks mentioned were only in the restaurant during main meals: tea/coffee and juices at breakfast, and sometimes self-service tea/coffee at dinner.

Important note: snacks between meals are not covered by half board. If you order snacks separately during the day, you may be denied entry to the included dinner.

Buffet is available for breakfast only. Lunch and dinner are served from a fixed menu where you choose 4 dishes. The menu is shown at the restaurant. One soft drink of your choice is included with each meal.
