What are the beach and sea conditions like at UAE resort hotels — strong tides, unusual water color, drinking water policy, and nearby construction noise?

TL;DR
At many UAE coastal resorts, the sea is strongly affected by tides: after around 1pm the water can recede significantly, making swimming difficult, though the water remains normally salty. With half-board (HB) meal plans, drinking water outside meal times is usually charged. Nearby construction can sometimes be heard from the room or beach, but it's not overwhelming.
During strong low tide, roughly ten metres of shoreline may be exposed. In the afternoon the water can turn somewhat murky and feel colder near the bottom.
The hotel has its quirks — high humidity creates a specific smell and the interior style is more 'Arabic luxury', which isn't for everyone. However, the à la carte dining and service are excellent — very tasty food and attentive, guest-oriented staff. Pool activities included aqua-cycling, which guests enjoyed.
The sea here is strongly tide-dependent: the water noticeably recedes by midday, so swimming may not be possible after around 1pm. The sea can look unusual compared to a classic beach view, but the water is still just as salty as expected.
With a half-board (HB) meal plan, free drinking water is usually only available during breakfast and dinner in the restaurant. Outside meal times (on the beach, in the room), water is typically charged unless the hotel provides separate free refill stations.
Some guests note that noise from nearby construction can occasionally be heard in the room and on the beach, but it's not a major issue and doesn't spoil the overall experience.
Waves near the shore can be fairly strong, as visible in photos, but swimming isn't officially prohibited — it's just worth being cautious and checking sea conditions before going in.
