What is the weather like in the UAE in September, early October, and December, and is it crowded?

In mid-December, the sea can still be warm, around 25–26°C. However, conditions may be unpredictable: one report described nearly a week of rain and strong winds, so the weather can vary substantially from year to year.

According to one traveler, early October is comfortable for a UAE holiday: air and sea temperatures are nearly the same, and the water is very warm. By late September, the sea is likely even warmer, almost like warm tea.

A traveler visited from September 26 to October 3: air temperature reached 42°C, water was 34°C, and evenings felt very stuffy due to humidity. Based on this experience, late October–November is recommended as more comfortable.

One participant noted that September in the UAE felt very humid and hard to tolerate, whereas in early August it was windy and dry, making it easier to handle — some even prefer this over September weather.

Based on a trip to Ras Al Khaimah in September, the temperature was about +35°C. The traveler noted that this is still a hot time in the UAE and did not notice a major temperature difference between emirates.

Some travelers feel that even the first ten days of October in the UAE are still uncomfortably hot. At the same time, heat tolerance is very personal, and some people are fine even in August.

Compared with the hotter months, one traveler found Saadiyat noticeably cool in December. That suggests December on the coast may suit visitors who do not handle extreme heat well.
