Can you exchange currency at Da Nang airport and is the rate good?

Some travelers arriving with only US dollars and a Mastercard found that the card wouldn't link to airport taxi apps. They had to exchange a small amount right at the airport just to cover the taxi ride and the first couple of hotel nights, despite the poor rate.
