Can you exchange currency at Da Nang airport and is the rate good?

Exchange booths are located to the left as you exit Da Nang airport, but it's better not to exchange large amounts there — the rate isn't great.

If your hotel is near the airport, you can exchange currency at a bank in that area — you'll need your passport. Most tourists typically exchange money elsewhere.

Currency exchange is available at Da Nang airport, but the rate is noticeably worse than in the city. Tour guides meeting you at the airport typically do not exchange money.

Leftover dong can easily be spent at the airport before departure — at shops and cafes in the terminal. The main thing is to make sure there are no issues at the departure airport.
