The QR-code entry-form requirement has been temporarily suspended. If it is reinstated, the form can be completed at the airport.
Airlines may ask to see a return ticket at check-in in your departure country — this depends on the carrier's rules. Documents may also be checked again at Vietnamese border control.
The QR code is available at the airport itself via posted signs linking to the portal. If you don't have a smartphone, immigration staff at the airport will assist you. Still, filling it out online in advance speeds up the border control process.
Starting July 1, 2026, all international airports in Vietnam require travelers to complete a QR code entry form. Filling it out online before arrival is recommended to reduce wait times at passport control.
