Where to buy souvenirs, coffee, ointments and perfume at good prices in Da Nang?

For souvenirs, Vietnamese coffee, and warming ointments like Tiger Balm or Star Balm, local markets and specialty shops offer much better prices than tourist-oriented stores.

Da Nang has at least two perfume shops — one larger and one smaller — where prices are more reasonable than in malls. There are also plenty of shops selling sweets, coffee and scarves, though the range is fairly standard.

Tiger Balm, Star Balm and similar warming ointments are best bought at local pharmacies or Han Market, where selection is wide and prices are lower than in tourist shops.
