Best day trips or weekend escapes from Nha Trang to avoid crowds

For free beach access in Doc Let, walk about 100 m from the terminus of bus 12-1 to the shore, then continue roughly 400 m left toward Paradize Hotel, beyond the Pax Ana and TTC resort areas.

TTC Resort in Doc Let — good beach option with a mini zoo, water park, dining spots, and loungers/towels included in the price. The sea is cleaner than in Nha Trang, but it gets crowded with local tourists on weekends, so weekdays are better.

Hon Tam Resort offers day-trip access, but staying overnight in a bungalow is the better option — you get to enjoy the island at a relaxed pace without rushing.

TTC Resort is good for a quiet beach retreat for a couple of days. The grounds are clean and relaxing, but there's little to do outside the resort. Avoid weekends as it gets crowded with local tourists.

Weekend options from Nha Trang include: Da Lat (mountain town), Vinpearl (amusement park), local Nha Trang sights, and Phan Rang with its zoo. Skip Nha Trang's central beach on weekends — it gets very busy.
