Can you bring fruit in carry-on or checked luggage when flying out of Nha Trang (Cam Ranh Airport)?

One traveler noted that issues might arise only if carrying a large quantity of fruit (roughly 20 kg or more). A couple of containers of fruit drew no attention from staff anywhere.

Several recent confirmations: fruit baskets (5-7 kg) in carry-on weren't weighed or inspected either at departure from Vietnam or on arrival in Moscow (Sheremetyevo). On Aeroflot flights, an S-size cabin suitcase, backpack, and a bag with 5-6 kg of fruit were carried through with no issues.

On a flight transiting through Shanghai, fruit was carried both in hand luggage and checked baggage without issues — it wasn't even inspected. Power banks and water bottles got more attention from security.
