How do you get from Nha Trang to Ba Ho Waterfalls, and how much does a taxi with waiting time cost?

From central Nha Trang, an inDrive taxi can cost about 300,000 VND each way. A return taxi can be found near the waterfall ticket office for roughly the same amount, making the estimated round-trip transport cost 600,000 VND.

In a recent Maxim report, the ride to the waterfalls cost 320,000 VND and the return after the driver waited cost 400,000 VND, for a total taxi budget of 720,000 VND.

The distance from Nha Trang to Ba Ho Waterfall is about 111 km. Via the CT01 toll expressway the trip takes around 1.5 hours one way, but taxi drivers often take the free QL1A road with winding sections, so travel time can be 2.5–3 hours.

A convenient way to reach Ba Ho Waterfalls is by taxi booked through Maxim, usually costing around 320,000–350,000 VND one way from Nha Trang.

If you go by taxi, you can arrange for the driver to wait on site for about 4 hours; according to traveler reports, the waiting time is sometimes included at no extra charge.

The return taxi ride usually costs about the same as the trip there, so it’s practical to arrange the whole round trip with the same driver.

You can also take Bus No. 12 to Ba Ho, but from the stop to the entrance there is still a walk of about 3.5 km, which many travelers find inconvenient.
