How do you get from Nha Trang to Ba Ho Waterfalls without your own scooter: bus or taxi?

The easiest option is a taxi straight to Ba Ho: travelers say it can take you directly to the entrance area, so you avoid transfers and the roadside walk.

For a cheaper route, take bus 12 and tell the conductor you need the Ba Ho turnoff. It helps to remind them before the stop so the driver lets you off there. From the turnoff, travelers usually continue by motorbike taxi.

Walking from the highway is not recommended: the shoulder is very narrow, around 1 to 1.5 meters of asphalt, and there is constant traffic from buses, trucks, and cars using their horns. After the bus, it’s better to take a motorbike taxi, or just go by regular taxi from Nha Trang.
