Do you need to fill out a digital arrival card before entering Vietnam?

When completing the arrival card, the date should match the day you submit the form: enter today’s date if you are filling it in today.

The pre-arrival card is not a visa — it's a separate digital migration card required for all tourists entering Vietnam. Those arriving specifically via Nha Trang may currently be exempt.

Some travelers report issues with the site not loading or authentication failing. If the site is down, try again later or use a different browser or device.

The official site to complete the Vietnam digital arrival card is prearrival.immigration.gov.vn — the Vietnamese Immigration Department portal.

The official pre-arrival card link has been confirmed as working. The form and instructions are current.
