How to get to Vinpearl Island and Hon Tam Island from Nha Trang?

Morning queues at the Vinpearl entrance can be long, but by 11am-12pm they clear up, so you don't need to arrive right at opening. However, queues on the way back (exit/return) can be very heavy in the evening.

Vinpearl tickets can be bought on the spot without pre-booking. The waterpark opens at 10:00, but the pools and beach are accessible earlier — you can arrive at 9:00 and use them before the waterpark opens.

To reach Vinpearl, take a taxi to the building just left of the cable car station. Inside are reception desks for various Vinpearl hotels. You can book and pay for a hotel on the spot, then board a boat immediately. Check-in is at 14:00 but you can explore the park from the morning. After check-out at noon the next day, you can stay on the island until evening. Discuss all details at booking — there are multiple options. Bring your passport and cash.

For Hon Tam Island, don't stop where the taxi driver suggests — go directly to the official ticket booths. The right booth sells Hon Tam tickets. After purchasing, wait for a guide who will escort you to the boat. Departure is at 10:00 sharp and runs on schedule.

Boat tickets to the islands sell out fast. By 11am they may already be gone. It's strongly recommended to arrive at the ticket booths as early as possible.
