How to visit Doc Let beach from Nha Trang — taxi price and beach club entry cost?

For longer trips like to Doc Let beach, a regular taxi works out cheaper than Grab — the app was quoting almost double the price locals charge.

Doc Let day trip: round-trip taxi from DB Hotel cost 450,000 VND, and the driver waited on-site for free. Entry to the TTC Hotel beach club is 350,000 VND, including a towel, lounger and coconut drink (loungers/towels can run short for groups — ask for a discount if so). The beach and hotel grounds are very scenic. On the way back you can ask to stop at the lotus fields.

On the way to Doc Let you can stop at Ba Ho waterfall, but it's better as a separate trip — entry with lunch costs about 300,000 VND, and a taxi there runs around 250,000 VND.

For beach loungers, it's better to rent through hotel grounds rather than in the crowded main beach area — it came out to about 700,000 VND for 2 loungers, 2 coconuts and 2 towels.
