What is the Trip.com app and what can you book through it for travel in Vietnam (flights, transfers, eSIM)?

Double-check you're downloading the official Trip.com app — there are similarly named apps in app stores that are easy to confuse it with.

Trip.com is owned by Trip.com Group, headquartered in Singapore — it's a major international travel platform, not a small local aggregator.

Through the app you can book flights and train tickets — useful for getting around Vietnam, for example between Nha Trang and Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City.

The app also offers airport transfer booking and car rental — you can arrange transport from Cam Ranh Airport to your Nha Trang hotel in advance.

Besides transport, Trip.com also lets you buy an eSIM card and attraction tickets — all within the same app.
