Arrive early at the water park to grab a sunbed — they're gone by midday. It's quiet before lunch but gets very crowded afterward when large tour groups (Chinese tourists with luggage) arrive.
The water park's minimum weight requirement (34 kg) is only checked on one slide, the spinning one. Staff can be lenient in practice — a 30 kg child was allowed on because a heavy-set dad was accompanying.

Skip the lazy river at the water park — there are no rapids, it's dull, and afterward you have to walk all the way back across the park to retrieve your shoes.

The beach at the water park is mediocre — fine pebbles and water that smells of mud/algae. Kids do love the obstacle course set up on the beach, though.
The most extreme vertical slides in the water park are currently closed, but tube slides (inflatable rings) are open and operating.

One day is plenty if you plan your route in advance. With fast-pass tickets it's even easier — you can cover all rides, the water park, the zoo, and the flying cinema in a single visit.

Must-do: zipline and alpine coaster. The Ferris wheel and slides are also worth it. The red slide is still not operating. The train ride lacks excitement. The flying cinema is short but fun. The aquarium is underwhelming.
