When does the stinging plankton (sea lice) season happen in Nha Trang and which beaches are affected?

On 6 August 2026 a swimmer in central Nha Trang described a burning sensation on an arm, then a leg, while in the water — it felt as if she had brushed against some plant. She asked others whether this was plankton; the sensation matches what other travelers described about plankton in the same days.
