When is the Nha Trang Sea Festival 2026 and what events are happening?

The main festival events were held at 2 Thang 4 Square (next to the Lotus landmark) and along the seafront of Tran Phu Street. July 2026 announcements advised arriving at evening events at least 1.5–2 hours early: crowds are large and the best spots fill up in advance.

As part of Festival Biển Khánh Hòa 2026, a kite festival was held on 17–19 July from 2pm to 5:30pm at the Thanh Nien football field on the Tran Phu waterfront.

On Sunday 19 July 2026 at 8pm the closing ceremony took place at 2 Thang 4 Square, combined with the Unite the Continents music festival and an international gala concert.

Alongside the festival, the VPS Cup Nha Trang 2026 sailing regatta took place in Nha Trang Bay from 16 to 20 July 2026 (main races on 18 and 19 July), and the food festival 'Flavors of the Coastal City' ran in the coastal park from 10 to 19 July.

On Friday 17 July 2026 the opening ceremony took place at 2 Thang 4 Square: according to announcements it started at 8pm (one listing said 8:10pm) and featured augmented reality and 3D projection, performances by Vietnamese pop stars including Hoà Minzy, Đức Phúc and Phạm Anh Khoa, and a large fireworks finale.

On Saturday 18 July 2026, from 4:30pm to 8pm, a street carnival with a float parade ran along Tran Phu Street from Tue Tinh to Le Thanh Ton: the schedule listed over 1,200 performers and 10 floats, costume shows, music and street circus, ending with a gala concert at 2 Thang 4 Square. An earlier announcement by the provincial culture department mentioned more than 2,400 participants and 9 themed floats.

The wider program included the Vietnam Supermodel and Mister Vietnam final, an ao dai dress festival, a Nha Trang cosplay festival and an international DJ lineup. From 10 July to 10 August 2026 more than 40 related events were held across Nha Trang and the province: food festivals, exhibitions, sports competitions and street performances.
