Where to buy a SIM card at Cam Ranh Airport (Nha Trang) on arrival and how much does it cost?

In September another traveler recommended buying the SIM at the airport if possible, since in town you will have to look for phone shops.

In August 2026 a traveler reported that an unlimited Vietnamobile SIM at Cam Ranh Airport cost 380,000 VND. In their view it is a fair price if you need a connection right after landing. The price reflects the time of the message; plans may have changed.

In July 2026 a participant noted that SIM cards are offered right at the currency exchange counters in the airport, so there is no need to look for a separate phone shop. They themselves recommended buying an eSIM in advance, though.

Instead of a physical SIM, you can buy an eSIM online in advance. Participants in July–August 2026 recommended Trip.com, where they bought regional Asia packages — for example, 30 GB covering 8 countries, or 50 GB covering 10 Asian countries for 15 days.
