TL;DR
Hotel beaches in Egypt are strictly private — security guards and lifeguards will remove anyone who doesn't belong to that hotel.
Two women from a neighboring hotel tried to use another hotel's private beach and swim in its roped-off area — security guards and lifeguards immediately whistled and removed them. Beach security is taken very seriously.
At Swiss Inn hotel, the beach is shared with an adjacent property, and a security guard immediately rushes out of his booth if you try to cross onto the neighboring hotel's section. The boundary is strictly enforced.
Speedboats cruising along the beach can be intimidating and make it unsafe to enter the water. Contacting the hotel manager directly resolved the issue quickly — the boats were removed almost immediately after the call.
