TL;DR
Beachfront hotels in Sharm el-Sheikh often disappoint with worn-out facilities, limited food options, and poor beaches. Second-line hotels frequently offer better value for money.
The hotel suffers from neglected cleanliness: a flashlight that fell from a staircase lay untouched for the entire 11-day stay — managers walked past without picking it up. Cigarette butts and disposable cups float in the lagoon's shallow area. The only genuine highlight is the coral reef.
Entertainment at the hotel is virtually nonexistent — nothing during the day or evening. Guests reported near-total boredom over a 10-day stay; there are no discos.
For 6 out of 10 days the guest was unable to access their room when needed. There was constant worry about belongings going missing (towels and other items disappeared). The reviewer has stayed at two other 4-star hotels in Egypt across 12 trips and never experienced anything like this.
A guest was initially placed in a block under renovation — dirty conditions, entrance facing the road, and a view of a dusty construction site. A room transfer was only granted after persistent requests on the second day, following multiple refusals.
The hotel's main drawback is pervasive dirtiness: unclean dishes, tables, and floors. While some guests overlook it, those who care about hygiene leave very dissatisfied.
The hotel has consistently received negative reviews for at least 8 years. Both past guests and those who visited in May 2026 report disappointment. One tour operator refuses to send clients there, describing the property simply as 'filth'.
A beachfront hotel turned out to be in poor condition — worn-out facilities, a food selection roughly 10 times smaller than at second-line hotels, and a disappointing beach. The traveler regrets choosing this property.
After an April stay: long queues at the buffet, meat sliced paper-thin and grilled to a char. Rooms were dirty. Staff focused entirely on tips — once received, guests were ignored. Ongoing arguments at the bar over beer limits (sometimes 2 glasses allowed, sometimes only 1). Bed bug bites reported.
Check-in was delayed until 2 PM even on a return visit. The assigned room was still being cleaned upon arrival. The hotel is consistently at full capacity.
