How quickly do Egyptian resort hotels fix room issues like AC, door locks, or amenities?

TL;DR
Most Egyptian resort hotels respond to room complaints quickly — a technician usually arrives within 20-40 minutes, though some issues (like a broken door lock) can recur multiple times during a stay.
If you want to clear space in the minibar (e.g. for your own wine), just ask housekeeping to remove everything — hotels usually handle this on the spot without issues.
Over a two-week stay, the door lock kept breaking — the key card stopped working and the lock beeped at night. Staff sent a technician each time (up to 30 min wait), and eventually gave a regular key instead of a card.
Guests also reported water leaking from the AC unit and a loud humming water heater tank on the roof at night — some guests could sleep through it, while others struggled to fall asleep for several nights.
A broken hairdryer was replaced with a brand-new one (still in packaging) while the guest was at dinner — the whole process from reporting to the front desk took about 30 minutes.
