Is ice cream available at Egyptian all-inclusive hotels — where and when?

The lobby bar offers fruit ice around the clock, providing another spot for a cold treat besides the pools and beach.

At some hotels ice cream is served not only at the main pool but also at the sports/front pool and the beach, from 12 PM to 5 PM, sometimes from a machine and sometimes scooped from tubs; flavors are the same — vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, mango.

Exact beach ice cream timing can shift slightly — sometimes it starts around 3:10 PM, but the machine is reliably gone right at 5 PM; only two flavors plus a mix are offered.

At some hotels, instead of soft-serve at the pool, they hand out packaged stick ice cream; quality can be inconsistent — one guest reported a watery, bland version instead of the expected fruit ice in April.

Near the kids' pool and aquapark area there is a snack zone offering ice cream, cotton candy, fruit, snacks, soft drinks, beer, coffee, and tea.

At the main pool, soft-serve ice cream is served from 2 PM to 5 PM in four flavors: vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and mango. The beach restaurant offers two flavors at a time; the best time to go is around 4 PM.

Based on previous years, soft-serve ice cream on the beach is standard at Egyptian resort hotels. Scooped ice cream from containers is also commonly served at lunch and dinner in the main restaurant.
