Is the food at Egypt all-inclusive resorts good, and is fruit selection limited?

TL;DR
Food quality varies a lot by resort: at Sultana the food and desserts are excellent (skilled pastry chef), but the beach is worse and pricier. Fresh fruit is often limited (no melon or papaya some days).

At current resort the restaurant is just a 3-minute walk from the beach, so it's easy to grab lunch and head back to swim, though Turkey's beach food was better.
