Is there a beach bar at Egypt all-inclusive hotels and what cups do they use for drinks?

Based on 1 discussion with 3 participants · Last activity: 1 day ago

TL;DR

Beach bars are included in all-inclusive packages. Drinks are served in small 200ml cups — bring a 600ml travel mug to avoid constant trips to the bar.

Another hotel comparison: at Siva Golden, waiters pour drinks directly into guests' own cups/thermo mugs on the beach, while this wasn't noticed at Arabesque. Also at Siva, good morning coffee is only available in the lobby — guests would pour it into their thermo mugs before heading to breakfast.

One guest highlighted a standout service level: as soon as you sit down on a beach sunbed, staff immediately bring a box of cold drinks to you.

Regarding alcohol quality: bottled beer is decent, but hard liquor on the beach comes from plastic bottles and is below-average quality.

This service varies by hotel: at Stella, waiters bring drinks around the beach and pool and even wipe guests' sunglasses — Rotana does not offer this.

Soft drinks at the bars are typically poured from soda dispensers/machines; one guest did not see bottled cola or similar fizzy drinks.

Beach beer is available only from 13:00 to 17:00 (as of May 2026). One guest also recalls that last year alcohol was served from 11:00 — the start time appears to have changed over time.

The first beach also serves complimentary all-inclusive alcohol, including spirits — not just beer.

The water park does not serve alcohol — only soft drinks: cola, Fanta, Sprite, and soda water.

Alcohol at the beach bar is only served from 12:00 noon. The bar is open before that, but only for non-alcoholic drinks.

Waiters regularly bring drinks around the beach, so you rarely need to go to the bar yourself. The front row of sunbeds fills up by 8 a.m.; the back rows are still free at noon.

Imported alcohol is not available directly on the beach, but waiters walking the beach can bring imported drinks (including fresh juices) from the hotel bar for a tip.

Large plastic cups are available at the beach and pool, but without lids. Beer is sometimes served in cans — a couple of dollars tip to the bartender and he will hand over an unopened can.

The beach is quite long but the bar is only at the entrance, making repeated trips inconvenient. The best solution is to bring a 600ml insulated travel mug — fill it up once and it lasts. Standard bar cups are only 200ml.

There is a beach bar included in the all-inclusive package. Alcohol is available. Drinks are poured into small disposable cups of around 200ml.

If you plan to drink beer on the beach, it's worth bringing a large mug or insulated cup from home — the bar only provides small cups, meaning you'll need to make frequent return trips for refills.
