TL;DR
The Mexican à la carte restaurant is worth a one-time visit for quesadillas, fajitas and grilled meats, but most guests prefer the main buffet restaurant.
The main buffet restaurant offers a wide evening spread including daily grilled meats (beef, lamb, chicken). Fruit selection includes melon, plums, oranges, bananas, grapefruit, and watermelon in the evenings. Food is mild and European-friendly. No reports of food poisoning.
At the Mexican à la carte, the meat platter with rice (chicken skewers, kofta, mini steaks) was a hit. The seafood dish with shrimp, crab and calamari in mashed potato was disappointing. A small buffet with salads and desserts is also available.
The Mexican restaurant ranks third among the hotel's dining options. Quesadillas and fajitas (especially beef; chicken version works well for kids) are the highlights. Desserts are weaker than at the main restaurant. Worth a one-time visit for variety, but the upstairs restaurants are considered better overall.
