TL;DR
The beach is tiny (about 10x10 meters), shallow, swimming past the buoys isn't allowed, and it's located outside the hotel across a busy street; easy to cut your foot on corals without water shoes.
One traveler called the beach terrible: a tiny patch about 10x10 meters, shallow water, and no swimming past the buoys. It's very crowded, compared to an overcrowded Black Sea resort.
Important detail: the beach isn't on hotel grounds — you have to walk to it along a busy street.
Entering the water is risky because of corals: a child cut their foot just 1.5-2 meters from shore while entering without water shoes. Definitely bring proper water shoes.
Beyond the beach, the evening entertainment disappointed too: animation shows are weak and there's nowhere decent to get a drink at night. The traveler said they wouldn't return to Sharm even after trying pricier hotels.
Relatives of another traveler who just returned gave a more positive review: the hotel has good rooms, and you can pay extra to be moved to one. With a small tip to staff (around $2 plus a chocolate bar), service noticeably improves — staff are attentive and try to make things better.
That same family was overall satisfied: kids were well-fed, happy, no mosquitoes, and plenty of good memories — meaning paying extra for a better room can make the stay quite comfortable.
