TL;DR
Rooms closest to the sea are usually small Standard category and don't work well for families. Family rooms are typically located above reception level, while Aqua rooms are in a separate building near the water park. Baby cribs or playpens are usually available on request but not guaranteed — confirm when booking.
A guest stayed in a 'Standard, garden view' category room (2 adults + 12-year-old child). Rooms in this category are bungalow-style with a private courtyard and green lawn area in front. No need to prioritize rooms near the pools — the sea and beach are close enough to compensate. Tip: choose a room near the archway leading to the promenade and à la carte restaurant — it's about a 5-minute walk to the beach, and there's a foot-wash and shower available at the beach exit.
Rooms closest to the sea are usually Standard category and quite small, not always suitable for a family with two kids (e.g. 8 years and 1.5 years old). Family rooms are located above reception level. If you want to avoid noise from the activity zone, ask for a garden-view room for more quiet.
The Aqua room category is in a separate large building (block 10) overlooking the water park. The building is big, so it's possible to try to find a quieter zone within it if you want to avoid noise.
For young children (e.g. 2 years old), it's worth checking with the hotel in advance whether a baby crib is available. If a crib isn't available, a playpen might be provided instead — but this isn't guaranteed, so it's best to request it ahead of time.
