Can you snorkel and see fish near the reef in Hurghada without going far from shore?

Opposite Makadina, you can enter the water, circle the reef on the right, rest on a shallow sandbar, and continue to a third reef. You can leave the sea almost anywhere, although some exit points have uncomfortable bottoms for bare feet.

At the Hadaba beach you can swim right from the shore with reefs right beneath you. If you swim further out into deeper water, it's even better.

You can stay close to shore near the reefs without swimming far out. Fish are visible right by the shore; people also swim near the buoys.

Even near the second beach ladder you can spot plenty of colorful fish — no need to swim far out. Great for those nervous about deep water.

The reef in Hurghada is excellent — among the best. The most scenic section is toward the Continental hotel. Food is plentiful, but local alcohol is low quality and may cause stomach issues.

Hurghada's beach is great even for those afraid of deep water. Fish are visible close to shore, making it ideal for beginner snorkelers.
