How to book a taxi to Senzo Mall in Hurghada and negotiate the fare in a ride-hailing app?

From the Rixos area, an inDrive ride was initially requested for 90 EGP, but the driver agreed to go only for 250 EGP. Be prepared for a substantial fare increase after a driver responds.

A street taxi can be flagged near the hotel without an app: the driver first quotes a high price (600 EGP to Senzo Mall), but refusing with a gesture and walking away gets him to lower it (to 300 EGP). The return trip cost 250 EGP without haggling. Hotel security notes down the taxi's plate number and driver's documents.

Using inDrive with the premium tariff (air conditioning), the ride from the hotel to Senzo Mall cost 125 EGP, and 130 EGP on the way back.

It's possible to arrange a round-trip street taxi with waiting time upfront: for example, 500 EGP total for both legs plus 3 hours of waiting at the mall, paid upon return to the hotel. This arrangement has been used successfully in previous years too.
